Have you ever thought of innovating by deducting rather than adding?
How do you picture a more lightweight city where waste is transformed into materials?
On the occasion of the Milano Design Week 2022, Materially has conceived the exhibition-event called Urban Matter(s), and Grestone® Urban Pavings has been selected to participate as a leading player, representing a world excellence for its eco-sustainable solutions for the construction field.
Andrea Petrillo, Commercial Director of Saxa Gres, the business group that launched Grestone® Urban Pavings, will be speaking at the talk: "Resourceful Waste" Curbing waste and converting it into projects.
The event will be taking place on June 6th at 5pm at the multifunctional space Superstudio Più in the heart of Tortona’s Design District (via Tortona, 27 in Milan).
Resourceful Waste talk – Let’s hand the floor over to Grestone® Urban Pavings
During the Urban Matter(s) exhibition-event, participants will be invited to a talk dedicated to companies that have embraced the principles of the circular economy to introduce new sustainable materials in the market.
The topic of the talk Resourceful Waste is the creation of new and potentially infinite circular supply chains, which is achieved through the preservation of resources, industrial symbiosis, secondary raw materials research and design developments in different fields of application.
Grestone® Urban Pavings has been called upon to explain that a construction industry complying with the principles of the circular economy is achievable by subtracting rather than adding, by consuming less fossil resources rather than continuing to deface the environment.
Urban Matter(s) exhibition by Materially
The core of the mission of Materially is the implementation of a circular economy through materials, and the fostering of a more sustainable thinking applied to all business activities.
Urban Matter(s) - The matter reduces itself for a light city - is the concept that deepens the consideration together with a selected group of productive realities, with the aim of offering designers and citizens material scenarios, processes and innovative solutions applied or applicable to the daily and urban dimension.
The ambitious and concrete idea is to imagine a light city, in which quality is measured through the reduction of negative elements and the lightening of materials and processes, to respond to contemporary needs.
Grestone® Urban Pavings and its path to sustainability
Grestone® Urban Pavings is a new generation of highly sustainable products, which pave the way for the use of porcelain stoneware in the most diverse paving and urban furnishing contexts, replacing stone and other natural materials that are increasingly difficult to use, due to both high costs and growing scarcity, and that in some countries have already led to a total ban on extraction.
Materially has recognised Grestone® Urban Pavings as a virtuous reality able to innovate while complying with the requirements of Environment, Social and Governance, and has invited us to the talk on June 6th as an excellence in the global panorama, for fully embracing the principles established by the 2030 Agenda.
Are you ready to reduce Co2 emissions and the environmental impact, in order to imagine a 'light city' together?
Grestone® Urban Pavings opens the doors wide to the construction industry of the future.
